16 suspects have been detained in connection with the armed attack

The General Directorate of Security (EGM) announced that 16 suspects have been detained in connection with the armed attack at Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa.

The statement, posted on the EGM's social media account, reads as follows:

"As part of the ongoing investigations into the armed attack that occurred on April 14th at Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, 16 suspects have been detained. Proceedings against the suspects are continuing."
